Adidas Originals – The Street Where Originality Lives

Posted: March 18th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Ads | No Comments »

I was a bit ‘meh’, with the Star Wars spot that broke a month or so ago but with a bit of a reworking, Adidas redeem themsleves with this slice of uber coolness. Love the look, love the music love the vibe. Effortlessly cool. I want to know where that warehouse party was. And what the music is too - someone out there know?

Heineken vs. The Champions League..

A wonderfully elaborate ‘prank’ from Heineken. A part of me is wishing this was a Carlsberg execution as it fits perfectly with their “Carslberg don’t do ‘X’ but if they did..” line.

But either way this is a gem..

Diesel ‘Be Stupid’ campaign..(pt 2)

Posted: March 5th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: | No Comments »

Following on from my post a few weeks back, here is some fresh content from the Diesel ‘Stupid’ campaign. Although I’m still not quite buying into this smart/stupid idea these are quite entertaining. Although this is completely fake,  if this was bootlegged by the masses - which I am sure is what they would just love to happen - that would be quite impressive. Either way, I’m sensing there’s going to be a few more videos of this nature flying around over the next few weeks..

Dubious anti-smoking ad campaign from France..

Posted: March 1st, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | 3 Comments »

Found on the Independent website the other day..

A poster from an anti-smoking campaign by Les Droits des Non-fumeurs

The advertising agency behind the posters says only a shock campaign can halt the rise in smoking amongst 13 to 15-year-olds in France.

Marco de la Fuente, the leader of the project for the BDDP et Fils ad agency, said: “The old arguments – tobacco is bad for you – don’t work any more. The message here is that tobacco is a form of submission. In the popular imagination, oral sex is the perfect symbol of submission.”

Okaaay then….
